🟢 Who Can Apply?
To be eligible:
- You must be a girl student.
- You should be in the 1st year of a diploma course OR in the 2nd year through lateral entry.
- Your family’s total annual income should not be more than ₹8,00,000.
- Only two daughters per family can apply.
- Preference is given to girls from these states and Union Territories:
- Andaman & Nicobar, J&K, Ladakh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu, Lakshadweep, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura
💰 What’s the Benefit?
If you get selected, you’ll receive ₹50,000 per year for your studies.
This money can be used for:

- Getting books, stationery, or software
🕒 Duration:
- Up to 3 years if you joined in the 1st year
- Up to 2 years if you joined in the 2nd year through lateral entry
✖️ This amount does not cover hostel or medical expenses.
🚫 Who Can’t Apply?
- If you fail or drop out, the scholarship will stop.
- If you’re already getting a scholarship or stipend from another source, you can’t apply for this one.
- If there’s a gap of more than 2 years between your last qualification and admission, you’re not eligible.
📝 How to Apply (It’s Online)
- Go to the National Scholarship Portal: scholarships.gov.in
- If you're new, register yourself. You’ll get an Application ID and password.
- Log in and fill in the scholarship application form.
- Upload the necessary documents.
- Submit your application online.
💡 You can track your payment on the PFMS Portal using your Aadhaar number, bank account number, or application ID.
